"The music found me when I needed it most."

While everything from washing dishes to a sleepy pup has always been fodder for a quick song to sing, Margarita really rediscovered her musical roots when she found a guitar in the house she was housesitting in the rain forest in Costa Rica during the rainy season.

One peer-pressured purchase in O'ahu and guitar-thwarting back injury later, the ukulele stole her heart away.

In a developing style she likes to call quirk-folk, Margarita writes the songs of her life, stories for which you may have been an unwitting muse, encouraging words, and the saddest happy songs she can muster.

Her first album, Me & Maybe You, was released February of 2020 and many more ideas are in the works.
